I will never forget you, my people

November 15th 2010

The annual service of commemoration for people who have died on the streets in the last year was held, as usual, in St Martin's-in-the-Fields on 11 November.The theme this year was "I will never forget you, my people" and was based on Isiah 49: 15-16 ("...yet I will not forget you./ See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your dwelling place is continually before me"). The people whose names are listed below were commemorated with hymns, poems, prayers and rousing music from Streetwise opera and The Choir With no Name.
