Man shot for throwing rocks

An unarmed man was shot by police, after throwing rocks in Pasco, Washington.

Antonio Zambrano-Montes, a migrant from Mexico, had been living in hostels and battling depression after separating from his family and losing his home in a fire, reports the Guardian. He had allegedly being throwing rocks at cars until police arrived when, video footage shows, he was chased, tasered and finally shot.

A protest march was held following the shooting, and the leader of the local Hispanic community group has called for a federal investigation.
