Wedge House closes

May 19th 2009

The homeless benefits office at Wedge House, Blackfriars Bridge Road, closed on 5th November when the lease on the building expired. There is no longer a special office for readers to attend, though outreach work will still take place across the capital. JobCentre Plus were at pains to point out that their staff will still be operating at day centres, and readers can use the services in any of their offices. An updated list of services is included in The List under 'Benefits agency' and 'Telephone services'.
