Space at Emmaus

September 27th 2009
Dear Editor, Would you please publish the fact that we've space at Emmaus in South Lambeth. Would you want to have an address instead of no fixed abode? Do you want to live and work alongside like-minded people in a community dedicated to the help and support of the would-be homeless? If your answer's 'yes', then contact Emmaus South Lambeth on 020 8761 4276 (press option 2 on the menu) and ask for the Community Leader. Alternatively if you are a potential referral agency or if you know someone that we might be able to help, then please don't hesitate to let us know. A resident of our non-religious community can expect his/her own en-suite room, three meals per day and a volunteer allowance in return for their efforts. Our full contact details are: Emmaus South Lambeth 9 Knight's Hill West Norwood, London SE27 0HY Yours Sincerely, John F Hession Deputy Community Leader, Emmaus South Lambeth Dear Mr Hession, There, I hope that raises some interest in a good opportunity. We'll aim to look at the work of Emmaus in a future issue, and see how their communities work. Editor
