Haunted graffiti

Laura Blakley, October 1st 2009

Don't miss the Haunted Graffiti show this month at the Recoat Gallery in Glasgow, which showcases the collaborative work of two renowned Scottish Graffiti artists. Elph One and Lyken Love are generally considered as the forefathers of Scottish Graffiti, since they were amongst the first in Scotland to paint graffiti in the 1980s. The pair met 16 years ago and have been close friends ever since, but this is their first collaboration. The walls and windows of the gallery display discarded architectural drawings and blueprints with remarkable paintings and a specially made song and video. The show runs until 18th October and is open Tues to Sun 12-6pm. • For more information go to recoat.blogspot.com
