Unfortunately, we don’t have direct access to accommodation. But we can explain to young people what their housing rights are, signpost them to services in their area that can support them and help them develop a plan of their next steps.

Solace provides safe refuge and move-on accommodation to hundreds of women and children made homeless through domestic or sexual abuse. Support is provided to ensure women and children are safe and their core needs are met in relation to finances and welfare benefits, housing, legal matters, immigration issues, health, education, training and employment.

Steps to Hope SCIO is a non-profit charity dedicated to caring for the homeless and those suffering with addiction. We operate Hope House - a 10 bedroom residential recovery programme which is peer led. This Educational activity programme focuses on the 12 Steps which brings about change within those who desire a clean and sober life. Also runs two soup kitchens per week at St Cuthbert's.
