The Passage denies an Eastern European invasion took place Rumours that suggested that a large number of eastern Europeans had tried to force their way into The Passage day centre last month have been quashed, with the centre's project manager, Mike Clarke, denying such an event took place. The Passage's position is one of helping people of all nationalities who are in an extremely vulnerable state, but, as reported in our January issue, a restriction was placed on help offered to those from Eastern Europe.
