Funding problems behind counsellor‘s decision to leave the Great Chapel Street Medical Centre Diane Goodkind, whose work we reported on in Issue 10 (February 2006), is leaving Great Chapel Street Medical Centre at the end of December 2007. A lack of additional funding has meant that the counselling service has been unable to develop for some while, so she decided to go. Many readers, particularly those who have benefited from her work, will be sorry to see her leave. She told The Pavement that she was "immensely proud of the achievements of [her] small, committed team of counsellors." It is planned that the post will be advertised.
