New start at Spitalfields Crypt Trust

The New Hanbury Project opens with workshops, an art room, a confidential counselling space and a garden May 20th marked the official opening of the New Hanbury Project, a training and education centre, operated by the Spitalfields Crypt Trust. The centre has been newly refurbished to provide workshops, an art room, a confidential counselling space and a garden, and the grand opening took place on the same day as the annual celebration of the Spitalfields Crypt Trust at Shoreditch Town Hall, when people who have benefited from the Trust's services during the year came together to share their experiences with a wider audience of the Trust's supporters and donors. The Spitalfields Crypt Trust has been operating in the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Hackney since 1965.
