Maggie was a press and parliamentary officer for eight years. She is now at the Scottish Arts Council, and has worked on a diverse range of stories and campaigns. She has a degree in Politics and Social Policy and a Masters in Urban Studies, and has always had an interest in housing and homelessness issues. She started to write for The Pavement during her maternity leave to stop her brain turning to mush.
